We are delighted to announce that The West Lancashire Golf Club has been officially approved by Sefton Council to hold civil wedding ceremonies on the premises.
We recommend that you contact the Registrar’s Office first to ensure availablilty.
Should you be considering holding your wedding ceremony at the Club, then the following information will be of assistance to you.

All costs relating to the attendance of the Registrar at a marriage ceremony must be paid directly to the Registrar. Current details of costs can be found on the Sefton Council website at www.sefton.gov.uk/1571
The Seathwaite Suite and Blundell Lounge are licenced to perform a civil marriage ceremony and can accommodate up to 80 guests.
The cost for holding the ceremony within the Clubhouse will be £695.00 and is payable before the event.
We are unable to hold a ceremony without being followed by a wedding breakfast, with the option of an evening buffet.

History of the Seathwaite Suite
The West Lancashire Ladies Golf Club was one of the first Ladies golf clubs in England and was one of the founder members of the Lancashire Ladies County Golf Association.. The Seathwaite Suite was named after Mrs. J. W. Fowler, who resided at 'Seathwaite' in Blundellsands. Mrs. Fowler, a founder member of the Club, became the first elected Lancashire County Captain, one of seven from this historic Club.
