The course will re-open to members on Monday 29th March, and visitors from Monday 12th April.

On 24 March, over 100 applied for the professional’s post vacated by EWH ‘Bob’ Kenyon, the twice Irish Open Champion, and it was given to EW ‘Ted’ Jarman, who had played in the Ryder Cup of 1935. He remained in this post at West Lancashire until his retirement in 1972.
