The Ladies Autumn Supper took place in the clubhouse on Tuesday, 5 October 2021. Approximately 85 ladies in their finery were able to attend which was brilliant. The meal was beautifully presented and a culinary delight. The Lady Captain’s address was well received by all present.
The scratch prize for Spring Days 1 and 2 was won by Caryl Evans. Toni Keane was presented with the prize for the best net score in Spring Day 1 and Maureen Collins won the prize for both the best net in Spring Day 2 and the best net aggregate prize over the two days of the Spring Meeting combined.
The Keizer Trophy, awarded for the best net aggregate score over the 2 days, was presented to Carole Davis and Neil Dalton was in attendance to present the winner of the Ladies Club Championship, Jessica Pindar, with the Dalton Trophy.
The Trophy for the best scratch score for the Autumn Meeting was won by Penny Thompson who, in her acceptance speech, reminded the ladies that she first won the trophy 50 years ago and she encouraged all the ladies present to keep competing and to continue to strive to succeed. Janet Williams was awarded the prize for the best net score.
It was lovely to see so many new Lady members supporting the Supper and, of course, a big thank you to the Captain, Andrew Selby, for attending. The Captain's Prize to the Ladies was won by Karen Lane.
A lovely evening was had by all and we now look forward to our annual St Andrews Dinner in November.
