Membership

West Lancashire Golf Club is a championship links, The Ladies section celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2016 and the club 150th anniversary in 2023.

West Lancashire has one of the smallest memberships in the area and this ensures that members have access to the course at all times.

The club has a full programme of matches, competitions and social events which are well supported and form an important part of the golfing calendar and in generating a ‘club’ atmosphere.

The clubhouse has all the expected facilities. Food is available in either formal or informal surroundings.

West Lancashire is a fine championship course providing a challenge to golfers of all abilities.

There are also excellent practice and coaching facilities. The Professional, Gavin Abson and his team are well respected golf coaches, who are involved in teaching at the highest level.

Unfortunately, all playing memberships are now full and we are closed for applications.

Membership is usually through introduction by two existing members.

House and Social Membership is open as normal with a proposer and seconder. An application form can be obtained from the office by your proposer.
