New Professional appointed, Mr EW ‘Ted’ Jarman

On 24 March, over 100 applied for the professional’s post vacated by EWH ‘Bob’ Kenyon, the twice Irish Open Champion, and it was given to EW ‘Ted’ Jarman, who had played in the Ryder Cup of 1935. He remained in this post at West Lancashire until his retirement in 1972.
